This mural was made in collaboration with Ana Maria Montenegro Jaramillo at the San Francisco Art Institute’s Chestnut street campus. The repetition places emphasis on cycles of violence that have dominated global political news cycles and the relationships between super powers and less wealthy post-colonial nations in the global south.
